For some reason, I stayed away from indie polishes for the longest time. I think it was the drama involved in procuring Lynnderella polishes, or maybe it’s because I didn’t dig huge chunky glitter back then (well, I’m still not keen on huge glitter– personal preference). I started warming up to them with Girly Bits because I love multi and duochromes and Pam’s polishes are amazing. But I’ve been slow on the uptake with others. When I saw this polish though, I couldn’t resist! This is Amy’s Nail Boutique in Lemon Lime.
This is a matte glitter, super bright yellow and lime green– a gorgeous combination! This looks like the same type of glitter used in Nailventurous Floam. I put it over a Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polish (it has no name, but it’s lime green) to make it pop a bit more. The polish does have a rough texture, and even after three coats of Seche Vite it remains bumpy, but it’s not gross and it didn’t bother me.
Looking forward to trying more from Amy’s Nail Boutique and other indie polishes now that I’ve been bitten, haha!

I think I’ll try it over yellow next time to bring out more of the “lime” glitter!
Fun polish! I hear you on the drama–I try to be zen about it and tell myself that if I’m meant to have a particular polish, it will find its way to me without a huge struggle (or huge expense–some of those auctions get crazy).
It’s crazy to think about the drama that comes from friggen nail polish, lol! Yeah, I saw some of those auctions… ouch!
