Sticks ‘n Stones may break my bones…

Thanks to my keen web stalking, I was able to procure a Cover Band Sticks ‘n Stones polish from Ninja Polish. This is a dupe of Lynnderella Connect the Dots, and I’ve seen rumblings of some drama over it. I don’t know the whole story, but you know what– this polish is gorgeous. If the Lynnderella polish becomes available again and I get my timing right, I’ll totally buy that, too!

I really like the look of this polish– all sorts of different sized confetti. I hesitate to call it glitter just because it’s not glittery. It’s black and white. There’s the occasional sparkly chunk that comes out, but largely it’s stick pieces and stone pieces. I’ve seen swatches elsewhere and I really like it over bright/neon colours. This is one coat of Cover Band Sticks ‘n Stones blobbed on top of one coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Brisk Blue. I think I’m going to try it over hot pink next!

  1. This is glitter, just not sparkly glitter. :)

  2. So very jealous! This is a total lemming of mine, but I’ve all but given up trying to catch it when it’s in, even with the email alerts. And I like that while it’s a “tribute polish” it’s not an exact match. Love it over the blue–and I bet it would be fantastic over hot pink too!

  3. Oh You scored BIG! I Want either of these polishes! CtD or SnS!!

    So pretty!!! They are beautiful!
