September – October 2016 Empties: Make-Up and More!

It’s that time yet again– time for me to throw this bag of garbage away. Here are beauty items I’ve used up in the last couple months.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash: While I may not always wash my hair, at least I always wash my face. This is a holy grail and I will probably be using this forever. Likely because my bathroom is jam-packed with it. What can I say, I love me a sale.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil: I have continued slathering this all over my face and it clears up blemishes beautifully. A++, will hoard again.

Dove Go Sleeveless Anti-Perspirant Sample in Beauty Finish… I think?: Is “Beauty Finish” a scent? I have no idea, but this stuff smelled amazing. I like it better than the regular Cucumber Green Tea one I use from Dove. Once I get through the Dove ones I have already, I’ll be seeking out this one.

Quo Nail Polish Remover (Regular): This is just the cheapest, regular nail polish remover at the drug store. It does a good job, can’t really complain.

Got2B Guardian Angel: I’ve always sprayed this on my hair before straightening it. I think I’ve included bottles of this in here before. I can honestly say I have no idea if it does anything for my hair, but it’s like $3, lasts a long time because I’m lazy and don’t straighten my hair all that often, and my hair hasn’t burned off.

Batiste Dry Shampoo Original Mini: Wow, I only went through one mini of dry shampoo, scary! Decent enough dry shampoo, easy to obtain and cheap, so it’s one of those things that’s nice to have on hand.

Sephora Foundation Sample: I really liked this for an undereye concealer. The Light shade worked well for me. I thought I might have been able to pull off the Medium shade, but NOPE. There was a third, darker medium shade included in this, but I cut it off and have it set aside for a less albino pal.

Everyday Minerals Matte Base in Fair Medium: Another one of these bites the dust. Their matte base gives me good coverage and has decent enough staying power. I keep using it and ordering more!

NYX Above & Beyond Full Coverage Concealer: I was a little sad to see this go, but since it’s a drug store concealer, it’s way cheaper than my MAC one… especially since my MAC one was discontinued. Full coverage gel-like consistency, easy to blend. Will purchase again when I’m out of my other concealer.

Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil in Perversion: I thought I would die before I used this thing up. I’ve come to terms with not being an Urban Decay 27/7 pencil fan. It’s fine, but for half the price I can get Gosh eyeliner at the drug store and that stuff is serious about not budging. I find the 24/7 pencils, particularly Perversion, really smudgy. Perversion is a super dark black, so it has that going for it, but eh, I’ll stick with Gosh.

Joe Fresh Cotton Pads: Hey, I remembered to take a photo of it this time! Riveting, isn’t it? I prefer the Quo pads as I find these ones leave lint behind.
