Continuing My Essie Starry Starry Night Nail Polish Dupe Search

I am obsessed with Starry Starry Night. This isn’t new… but there you go. Well, perhaps my obsession isn’t with Starry Starry Night, but with glittery blue nail polishes in general.

Today’s post covers four possible dupes, a few you’ve seen before but there’s one new one: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star from Colors by Llarowe.

Ring: LynBDesigns TARDIS
Pinkie: Picture Polish Cosmos

The two Picture Polish polishes were two coats, Llarowe and LynBDesigns were three.

As you can see, Orbit’s glitter is more dense and the base is more purple than the rest. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star is supposed to be spot-on. I thought TARDIS was spot-on last time I did this post, but now I can see the differences in the glitter. Those two are pretty close though. And lastly Cosmos isn’t a dupe, but dang it’s a nice nail polish!

Overall, if you can’t get your hands on Essie Starry Starry Night, I’d recommend Colors by Llarowe Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. LynBDesigns is also a good alternatives, but close up I’d have to say that I prefer Llarowe’s glitter.

What do you think? Know of any other Essie Starry Starry Night dupes? What’s your favourite?

  1. What I have is not a dupe for Starry, Starry Night, but it is a beautiful glittery blue polish. It is Morgan Taylor Under the Stars – inky blue jelly base with small and medium holo glitter.

  2. I just got the Morgan Taylor and it is seriously one of the most gorgeous polishes I have ever seen. The glitter is holographic and as far as I’m concerned it blows the Essie right not of the water!

This reminds me of a shade that came out a long time ago-perhaps it’s collectible by now, as I don’t believe it’s still made, but it was by Chanel & it was called Cel de Nuit.

Ah yes, I think I’ve come across that one online while looking for blue glittery polishes. That’s another gorgeous one!

How crazy is that?! Definitely picking up a bottle and will swatch along with my remaining dupes. Been trying to pre-order it off Amazon.ca, but it’s the only shade of the new collection not available (of course, lol!)
