Oh yeah, I have a blog. Yearly update?

By Lindsey | December 18, 2013

I guess it’s been quite a while, eh?

The Lance is back up and running, has been for a while, I just suck at updating. Felt kind of lazy (very lazy!) to leave that previous post as my last one.

I have other blogs (sorry you had to find out this way) that I’ve been working diligently on, and not neglecting like this poor thing. My nail polish blog, Lindsey’s Lacquer, sees quite a bit of traffic. I realize it might seem silly to blog about nail polish, but it’s really fun and it helps me justify my embarrassingly large collection (300 bottles? Who needs that?! Me, apparently).

One of my manicures was featured in a nail polish publication called Nails HQ Magazine. This is available on the iTunes App store by clicking here.

The local business publication I write for is now online, and you can read past issues as well. Check out Windsor Business!

Of course I’m still at the local Chamber of Commerce, putting together their print magazine, electronic newsletter, press releases, presentations, website updates, and all sorts of other exciting stuff. It’s a fun place to work and it’s a great feeling to be part of positive change in my city.

Looking at past posts I see that I wrote about the Hunger Games movie. I caught the second one, Catching Fire, a couple weeks ago and it was even better that the first. I’m looking forward to the conclusion, even though I know I’ll feel all the feels.

And typing about The Feels (TM)– have you read The Fault in Our Stars by John Green? Good lord. There’s a movie I’m looking forward to seeing. I don’t want to ruin anything, but let’s just say thank goodness for waterproof mascara. I’m gonna need it.
